UCYFL-Fallston Football
To all Fallston Football Families:
I know it is hard to believe but it is that time of year again, Football Registration. We will be doing online registration ONLY, there will be no walk in registrations. Registration is on a first come first serve basis, so if your child has interest in playing I would strongly recommend that you register as soon as registration opens on February 4th.
A few things to remember when you are registering:
1. You are registering for football, not a particular team, coach, or age group. Your child will be placed at the level and age group that best suits both your child as well as the program. This will be determined after the evaluation period.
2. Since Football is a Travel program there are no guarentees that siblings, or relatives will be placed on the same team. Each child is evaluated on their own ability level, and will be placed accordingly.
3.The OBL (Older But Lighter) spots at 10U, 11U, and 12U will be determined by the coaches and the football board, there are no guarentees that your child will be an OBL. All children will be registered for their proper age group and then placed as an OBL either at weigh ins or evaluations.
4. 14U is age only, no weight limit, no tackle to tackle, also no High School kids.
5.This is the last year our league will have OBL's, starting in 2013 we will be moving to an age only style of play, meaning that our kids will play with kids of their own age. Our voting members have decided that all registered kids will play at their proper age group, meaning that they will play at the lowest age group that does not restrict their play.
6. If your game jersey still fits from last year you will not need to purchase a new one, if you need a new jersey you will need to purchase a new one at a cost of $55.00
Jersey Numbers are determined by the following criteria:
a returning player that is a playing in their proper age group has first priority at the number, if there are two returning players with the same number then it goes by date and time of registration. Hopefully with us not allowing double numbers in age groups we will not have any issues. All number issues will be handled by the board and their decision will be final.
7. Every child participating in Fallston Football MUST ATTEND the evaluations which will be held the first week of August. This is how the teams are determined, any child that does not attend the evaluations will not be placed on a team until they can be properly evaluated by either the board or an appointed group of coaches.
